My favorite college memory was spending an entire summer attending class and living out of the Hilton Riverside Hotel in 2006. It was the most memorable time of my college journey and most impactful as well. The Hilton will never be the same.

Why should you choose Dillard University? Dillard offers a great hands on learning experience and provides a nurturing environment that makes everyone feel at home. Not to mention that Dillard University is located in one of the most unique cities in the country. What better city is there to attend college than New Orleans!

My best college memory would have to be the choir tours, the opportunity to travel the country, sing, and make friends that became family was incredible.

Students should attend/consider Dillard University because the family style environment is unmatched here. Everyone cares about each other and wants to see each other win. I love that.

My best college memories are during my freshman year while living on campus. Walking to and from the cafeteria (The Cafe) every day was one of the best social events of my freshman year! Meeting up with friends, laughing, joking, and reminiscing! These are the little things that made the on-campus experience unforgettable.

A student should attend Dillard for so many reasons! #1 Reason: It's an HBCU! Black excellence at its best! There are endless opportunities afforded to the students of Dillard to achieve excellence during and after their time here at DU.

I remember getting to the football game at 7 am even though it didn't start until 1 pm just to make sure that I got a seat under the shed. My peers and I recited chants and cheers until we saw the band come down on the field and into the stands with us. It was the music, my friends, the sport and the entire atmosphere. I will never forget that feeling.

Dillard University is the pillar of black excellence where students thrive in every aspect. Students attend Dillard because of the history, the world-renowned Majors and Programs, and to be a part of the consistent history of producing multi-facilitated, prepared, and intellectual graduates. While at Dillard students will also develop social skills such as time management, professional development, and how to navigate the world from a different perspective. Students will experience all of these academic achievements along with being heavily involved in social and community events from which the university was rooted. Together we prepare our students to be The Next Generation of Global Leaders.

My best college memory would have to be getting the opportunity to travel to Ghana for two weeks on a volunteer trip. It was my first time traveling to Africa and I didn't know what to expect. It was a very impactful experience and I am still friends with some of the local college students I was able to meet while there.

Students should choose Dillard because the university offers a diverse and inclusive family atmosphere. Through campus life, academic programs, internships, and much more Dillard gives students the foundation needed to go out into the world and succeed.
