My favorite college memory was spending an entire summer attending class and living out of the Hilton Riverside Hotel in 2006.

Why should you choose Dillard University? Dillard offers a great hands on learning experience and provides a nurturing environment that makes everyone feel at home.

My favorite college memory was when I had the opportunity to be an Marketing Intern for New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity and a Marketing Team Representative for the Google Community Leadership Program during my Junior and Senior (2013-2014) year at Dillard University. It was during that time that I realized what my true passion and calling in life was meant to be.

You should choose Dillard University because it is like your home away from home, where you find faculty and staff that are more like Fathers, Mothers, or even Aunts and Uncles. Dillard University is a place where you find students and peers that are more like brothers and sisters in which you grow an unbreakable bond that will last forever. Most of all choose Dillard University because it is like the family you never had, that will raise you up through an education and life experience that you will not find anywhere else.

I have so many favorite moments from my experience as a Dillard student, that it's almost impossible to choose just one. However meeting friends and professors that taught me the meaning of accountability for my own success is an experience that has proven to be invaluable.

You should choose Dillard because there is no place in the world like it! Excellent academic programs, a campus experience customized by the students and great opportunities for internships, graduate programs and employment post graduation are just a few things that you should consider.

Working in the Admissions Office with incoming students is the best part of my Dillard Experience. It is a pleasure to guide and help prospective students through the admissions process. When I speak with a prospective student and they say thank you very much, you have made my day, it doesn’t get much better than that. From admission to graduation, that is my most rewarding Dillard experience.

Why  choose Dillard? The Family atmosphere at Dillard University makes it a perfect place for anyone who is a serious student. Because of the small class size the professors and staff really get to know you and care about you and your future. You will make lifelong friends in a city that has the most interesting culture and traditions. Dillard University , a small Liberal Arts HBCU with excellent academic programs gives you great  opportunities for a brighter future and can be the right fit for you if success is in your DNA.

As a music major at Dillard, performing for midday recitals with my peers every Wednesday had to be my most memorable experience. To have such a supportive and encouraging environment is truly part of the Dillard Difference.

Dillard allows it's students to thrive in an intimate, engaging environment all the while creating unforgettable memories amongst each other.

My favorite college memory would have to be the continual hands-on experience I gained. My sophomore year, with 3 colleagues, we were able launch a World Aids Day Series sponsored by BET which included give-a-ways, testing, and performances. This was huge for a group of college students had just began the role of public relations professionals.

Why should you choose Dillard University? You should choose Dillard because you are surrounded by people who not only look like you, but have many of the same experiences. This knit community allows you the opportunity to flourish and make the best of everything you learn in the classroom and apply it to the real world.

The best part of working at Dillard University is getting to see the growth of the student from freshman year to graduation. It is mesmerizing to be able see an introverted student transform into the student body president or become the member of a fraternity/sorority or become a community leader or captain of the cheer team.  Helping mold and guide the minds of the students at Dillard University is quite possibly the most rewarding experience I have ever had.
