Description
Advanced Health Assessment provides the student the opportunity to develop advanced skills in interviewing and data collection, as well as conducting a physical assessment of clients at various stages across the lifespan. Course expectations include fostering critical thinking, clinical judgment and advanced psychomotor skills leading to the course outcome performance of a complete health assessment and history of an individual. 30 contact hours didactic lecture; 45 contact hours Laboratory application. Graduate status or consent of department.
