Description

This seminar is designed to assist students in the development of professional skills necessary for successful completion of an internship in public health/health science as well as assist students in their preparation for life after Dillard. Topics of study include job search strategies, GRE preparation, pertinent certifications and licenses in Public Health and Health Science, and writing a personal statement. Students will work closely with the Internship Site Coordinator to review the various types of public health/health science internship settings and complete a minimum of 40 shadowing or observation hours in their selected career field. This course will be team taught by all of the faculty members of the School of Health and Wellness.
