Description
This course takes an integrative approach to managing water systems at the municipal level where policy, goverance, management and infrastructure intersect to address urban water challenges. Student will be introduced to the various displines and professions that work to create resilient communities, respond to disater, and provide design interventions for sustainable urban water projects. Emphasis will be placed on water challenges specific to the greater New Orleans region including flood mitigation, storm water management, social impact and sustainable community development.
